Untitled work (Nils-Udo)

In his works and installations, Nils-Udo makes a series of soft operations, simple changes, light variations bringing together colours, plants and other natural elements. The most ordinary group of materials becomes the focal point of an artistic work, crystallising, in miniature, the entire spectrum of natural forms that have inspired the architecture and ornament in our civilisation.

The artist acts as a mediator. Such operation keeps deep, artistic truth: creativity is the result of solitary reflection and a very personal journey. The work of art aims to share a private vision, a unique way of looking at the world.
